“Art – good art - solicits attention, poses questions, prompts reflection, and gives pleasure. But art does more than engage the viewer in visual conversation. Works of art ‘speak’ to the things around them. The synergy that results from these ‘conversations’ is, I think, especially resonant among pieces grouped within a home. In our foyer, Frankie Slaughter’s “clusters” of porcelain carry on a boisterous and joyous banter with each other as well as with the works of other artists around them. It’s impossible to walk past without stopping to look (and listen).”

“Their vibrant color and dynamic energy are just two of the reasons why I am thrilled to live with Frankie Slaughter’s artwork. I have several pieces - all exciting to live with.”
