CERAMIC PEARL NECKLACE

An oversized pearl necklace made of slip-cast ceramic hollows connected by rope and finished with a hand-fabricated brass clasp; the “stage set" includes a sofa with no cushions or “comfort.” This installation activates such questions as, "Who are we behind the scenes, outside of pretending and protecting an image? Who is the unadorned self?"
